We are excited to announce the launch of our 2024-2025 capital campaign, FUELING OUR FUTURE, aimed at expanding our reach and impact across Southern Oregon by significantly increasing access to childcare and early childhood development resources!
JOIN US IN FUELING THE FUTURE OF SOUTHERN OREGON AS WE EXPAND OUR EFFORTS ACROSS JACKSON AND JOSEPHINE COUNTIES, DRAMATICALLY INCREASING ACCESS TO CHILDCARE, EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY RESOURCES FOR OUR ENTIRE REGION
The expansion of The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon.

We are adding a 12,000-square-foot addition to The Children’s Museum and The Ivy School preschool, completing the Medford campus of The Oregon Center for Creative Learning. We look forward to increasing our ability to serve Southern Oregon with expanded exhibits, classrooms, and programs for decades to come.
Dutch Bros Coffee is generously donating its headquarters building in Grants Pass to bring the next Ivy School and Children’s Museum in Southern Oregon!

“ Dutch Bros wouldn’t be what it is today without the support of the Grants Pass community, We want to show the same support to our hometown whenever possible. Donating our building to Oregon Center for Creative Learning guarantees more kids and families in Josephine County have a compelling future through early childhood education and family activities.”

This regional vision for comprehensive early childhood and family learning activities are on their way to reality.
But we need your help.
Why?
Typically, public funding for childcare assistance “cuts off” for families of 4 at an income level of about $66,000. Even then, waitlists can exceed 18-24 months and spaces are further limited
This creates family instability
-
Workplace challenges for employers
-
Lack of therapeutic, developmental and mental health services for children in crisis
-
A chronic increase in societal spending upstream - from healthcare to law enforcement, housing and public assistance
The new campaign will highlight
the importance of collective effort in shaping a brighter future for our region by investing in the well-being and education of our children.
Additionally, This campaign focuses on highlighting the transformative impact of Early Childhood Education (ECE) on individuals and society. It aims to underscore how investing in ECE can address pressing societal issues and build a stronger, more resilient community. By emphasizing the long-term benefits of early education, the campaign seeks to rally support for expanding and enhancing ECE programs.
This campaign is not just about building schools and museums; it’s about Fueling our future in a meaningful way that prioritizes our children's development and the community’s collective well-being.
